From Chinguetty you can reach several interesting places, the ancient city of Ouadane, accessible through an easy dirt road or off track "via the dunes", you can continue and visit the crater of El Guelb Richat and the old Portuguese fort of Aguedir, or the village of El Beyedd.
Another possibility go to Zarga arriving to Mereth and then visit the villages of Terjit and Oujeft. 


Not far from Chinguetty there is meteorite crater of Aouelloul; you can also visit Fort Saganne (the one of the famous film).
